Job Summary
We are a fast-paced precision company looking for a Tool Crib Clerk. Are you someone

A skilled Tool Crib Clerk will use their skills and expertise to receive, store, and issue
our tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices. You’ll find success in being
responsible for cleaning, oiling, and performing minor repairs on our tools and equipment
and disposing of surplus or obsolete equipment. Are you up for the challenge?

Duties

  • Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and
    equipment in industrial establishment: Issues tools and equipment to workers and
    maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually or using
    computer.
  • Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
  • Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and
    equipment, manually or using computer.
  • Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions
    stock to replenish inventory.
  • Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually or using
    measuring equipment, and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
  • Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment, using hand tools, spray gun,
    or pressurized spray can.
  • May deliver tools or equipment to workers, manually or using hand truck.
  • May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or
    electric marking tool.
  • Responsible for wastewater and material recycling coordination
  • Responsible for shop supplies (paper towels, degreaser, etc.)
  • Serves as backup to receiving department
  • Forklift use as necessary

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge of machine shop and mechanical maintenance tools and their repair
  • Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
  • Inventory management experience
  • Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable
    accommodation
  • Ability to work occasional overtime as required
  • Good English skills with the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
  • Forklift certified

Compensation: $21.00-25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-03:30 pm
