Job Summary
We’re seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to maintain and enhance our IT
infrastructure in a fast-paced CNC manufacturing environment. You’ll be responsible for
system reliability, security, and performance, ensuring seamless tech integration with
production.

Duties:
- System Management: Oversee and maintain the company’s server, storage, and
- network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- CNC Software Support: Manage and support CNC software applications, ensuring
they are up-to-date and functioning optimally. - Network Administration: Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks,
ensuring secure and efficient communication between machines and systems. - Security Oversight: Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect
sensitive manufacturing data and systems from unauthorized access and threats. - Backup and Recovery: Develop and execute data backup and disaster recovery
plans to safeguard company data and ensure business continuity. - User Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to end-users on
systems and applications, ensuring all staff are proficient in necessary
technologies. - System Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system
configurations, procedures, and updates for future reference and compliance. - Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to align IT infrastructure with
manufacturing goals, ensuring that technology supports operational efficiency. - Project Management: Lead or participate in IT projects, such as system upgrades,
migrations, and new technology implementations.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in Windows and Linux server administration.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies (e.g., AWS, VMWare).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying
and resolving issues. - Knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, and best practices for protecting
systems and data. CMMC knowledge is a plus. - Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate repetitive
tasks. - Willingness to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to
continually improve systems and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, with a focus on CNC
manufacturing environments preferred. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft) are a plus.
Compensation: $80K-$100K/yr DOE
